FirePoint-2 zone expansion unit

A standard FirePoint-2 alarm control panel allows you to use up-to four detection zones. For many installations this will be more than enough but sometimes you might need more. If you need between five and ten detection zones you can simply add a "zone-expansion" unit (click here for picture). The zone expansion unit has its own metal box that is the same size and shape as the standard control panel. On the front of the box are six extra sets of zone lamps.  These are controlled by the main control panel and behave in the same way as the zone lamps of the main panel. Zone expanders can be added to new or existing installations. When a zone-expansion unit is added, it will be automatically recognised by the FirePoint-2 control panel and the extra six zones will immediately be available for selection in the menus.
