The benefits of the FirePoint-2 fire alarm control panel.

• Guest houses, hotels, hostels and HMOs (houses of multiple occupancy). Minimum décor disturbance. The exact source of any alarm is immediately pinpointed.  An alarm sounder can be fitted in every bedroom without extra cable cost.
• Offices, factories, warehouses and clubs. These often require very long cable runs so you save lots of time and lots of money because the FirePoint-2 uses less cable than a conventional fire alarm.
• Schools, halls and churches. This type of building commonly has cabling already installed on account of a previous fire alarm system.  When you replace the former system with a Firepoint-2 you can possibly re-use the existing cables.  Please ask us if you need advice.
• With the FirePoint-2 fire alarm control panel, the detectors and the alarm sounders are connected to the same cable.  This means that your cable costs are halved.
• Because the FirePoint-2 needs only half the cable of a conventional system, the time needed to complete the installation is also reduced.
• A FirePoint-2 system has many features that can be used to make servicing and maintenance quicker and simpler.
• Every FirePoint-2 has an optional "service reminder" feature that can be set by the installer if desired. When this feature is used, the FirePoint-2 control panel will give a gentle but timely reminder to the building occupiers when the next periodic service is due.  This means that you can be sure that the FirePoint-2 will be regularly serviced.
• The installer doesn't have to call the customer to remind them of the need for a service - the FirePoint-2 will remind them when the time comes. One installer described this feature as a "fantastic idea".
